One of the few non-estate wines in our portfolio, this Trebbiano is crafted from grapes grown at Lahey Vineyards in Terry County, in the heart of the Texas High Plains. Inviting aromas of golden apple, poached pear, lemon zest, and honey set the stage for a beautifully rounded palate. Its soft, generous mouthfeel is balanced by refreshing acidity, bringing structure and liveliness to each sip. The result is a white wine that feels both rich and refreshing, with a warmth of character that makes it especially inviting as the seasons change. It's not often that a white wine can be described as cozy, but this Trebbiano fits the bill. Perfect for sipping outdoors while enjoying the crisp air of an autumn afternoon.

Trebbiano - Europe’s Silent Superstar
Trebbiano may not have the celebrity status of Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, but it has quietly played a starring role in European winemaking for centuries. The name Trebbiano actually refers to several distinct Italian grape varieties, the most widespread being Trebbiano Toscano. This particular grape has a fascinating double life: in Italy, it produces crisp, refreshing white wines, but across the border in France, it's known as Ugni Blanc, and it is the principal grape used to make the world-famous brandy, Cognac. That's right — the same grape that makes an easy-sipping Italian white can also become one of the world's most prestigious spirits!
Trebbiano is loved for its versatility, both in the vineyard and the winery. Often offering delicate aromas of lemon, green apple, citrus blossom, and fresh herbs, Trebbiano wines tend to be crisp, clean, and uncomplicated in the best possible way.
