Color: Heavy Pink
Our sweet rosé has a very fruity bouquet with notes of white peaches and candied strawberries layered with hints of fresh roses and lychee. On the palate, it is supple and sweet. Refreshing yet full. Gentle but strong. A true balancing act with a pink color and a sneaky little kick from the alcohol.

Meet the Inspiration
Tyler, Texas - “The Rose Capital of America”
Every spring, Tyler comes alive in shades of pink as the azaleas bloom throughout the city. For us, those flowers represent more than a season—they represent the place we call home and the community that has supported Rio Neches from the very beginning.
We wanted this wine to celebrate Tyler and the people who make it so special. With its beautiful pink color and sweet, approachable style, our Sweet Rosé felt like the perfect tribute to one of our hometown’s most beloved traditions. Bright, welcoming, and unmistakably sweet, The Azalea is our little love letter to the Rose City and the community we're so proud to be a part of.
Meet the Grape
Cabernet Sauvignon - The King of Reds Goes Pink
Cabernet Sauvignon is often called the "King of Red Wines," but its royal beginnings were surprisingly humble. Originating in Bordeaux, France, Cabernet Sauvignon emerged from a chance natural crossing between two very different grape varieties: the red Cabernet Franc and the white Sauvignon Blanc. This family secret remained hidden for centuries until DNA researchers at the University of California, Davis, confirmed its parentage in 1997. From its beginnings in French vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon went on to conquer the wine world, becoming a defining grape of prestigious regions such as Bordeaux and Napa Valley. Renowned for its bold flavors, powerful structure, and remarkable aging potential, Cabernet Sauvignon has earned its reputation as royalty in the world of red wine. But even a king can have a softer, more playful side!
Although Cabernet Sauvignon is traditionally celebrated for its deeply colored, full-bodied reds, this versatile grape can also produce beautifully expressive rosé wines. By limiting the amount of time the grape juice spends in contact with its dark, tannin-rich skins, winemakers can capture its vibrant fruit character while leaving much of its signature color and powerful tannins behind. The result can be a wonderfully refreshing rosé bursting with notes of strawberry, raspberry, red currant, and citrus, often accompanied by delicate floral or herbal undertones. Cabernet Sauvignon's naturally lively acidity brings freshness and structure, while its rich fruit character offers a little more personality than one might expect from a delicate pink wine. Though it may be an unconventional choice for rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon proves that even the boldest of grapes can have a soft side.
